Redwood BBQ Aug. 7 to benefit building plans

REDWOOD — The Redwood Historical Society will host a chicken barbecue dinner fundraiser at noon Aug. 7 at the Redwood Tavern on Route 37.

The dinner will cost $8 and includes half a chicken, macaroni salad, baked beans, biscuits and dessert.

All proceeds will go toward obtaining the former Redwood Bank building, which has been converted into a museum, and its maintenance thereafter.
