The state Department of Tax and Finance published a list of the top 250 tax scofflaws on the Internet for the first time Friday — and the list includes two people from the north country.

DealMaker owner Philip J. Simao, Alexandria Bay, owes $1,067,158.27 in outstanding taxes, putting him at No. 61 on the list. John P. DeGuardia, Turin, owner of Timberview Lodge, owes $647,341.57, good for spot No. 132.

The list includes individuals who have outstanding tax warrants filed against them in the past 12 months.
